Day 16 cont'd

Horray we made it to Myers Flats by 5 PM.  Some of the gang was already there, so we set up camp and stated visiting.

The next day a 19 bikes took off for the Avenue of the Giants ride & then to Ferndale for lunch.

Then on the Wednesday 21 bikes headed for Fort Bragg on the coast.  We had a very rough curvy road to contend with, but we all made it safe & sound. Had a seafood lunch on the wharf.

On Thursday Gerry, Karl & I went back to the Avenue of the Giants to Interperative Center.

We also got to see a video of the destructive December flood of the Eel River in 1964. It was devastating.

Also we were treated to our Banquet and we had two kinds of chicken, tons of different salads and it was topped off with a Blackberry/ice cream desert. After supper we all said our goodbyes for another year and we will all head out in the morning.
