After a good nites sleep we were up bright & early so we got an early start for home. Said goodbyes to cousins leaving the hotel the same time. And yes it was rain on & off all the way home. Left Kalispell at 8 AM and was home at 5PM. We picked up a few grocery staples on way home.
All in all, it was a terrific weekend being able to meet more cousins.

Today started out being another day of cold weather & clouds. Went to the church for the coffee & cake for Helen's 90th. Lots of family there as well as some of Helen's church friends. Gerry and a couple of the cousins went to the car show downtown. Had a banquet in PM. Awesome food. We all said our goodbyes as we are leaving in the morning.

After a good breakfast at the motel this morning we headed out in the rain for Kalispell. It was the fastest that we have ever got through the border. Had some lunch at Wheat Montana, then of course a short visit to Walmart and the Harley shop before checking into our room at the Hamptons. Went up the mountain to Helen's place and then the cousins starting arriving in droves. Had an excellent supper and visit and catching up the family tree. Back to Hotel by 9:30 PM just as it was starting to rain again.

On the road again, 4 wheels this time. Had rain going through Calgary. Stopped in High River at A & W for lunch. Got to Muriel's about 3 PM in Pincher Creek and had an awesome visit for over an hour. She will be 90 in 6 weeks time. We headed west and stopped at Lundbreck Falls before heading to the Crowsnest Pass where we got fuel. Stopped in Fernie at Smitty's Restaurant for supper before we went across the parking lot to the Super 8 motel for the night

It was a gorgeous weekend except on Friday it was a wee bit cool & a little damp when we headed for Kirkcaldy AB for the AB500 which was held at Marg's.. Very good turn out for supper on Saturday. We all ate tooooo much as usual. Got in some cribbage in the late evening. We came home on Sunday arriving about 4:30 PM.
