Day 37 Aug 23, 2019
Awake at 2 AM due to thunder boomers rattling the tent trailer. And of course a ton of rain with it. Up 6:30 AM so we were on the road really early. Stopped in Moose Jaw to check out the camp ground for next years rally. Had a big breakfast at the restaurant next door then headed north. Ran into rain, sunshine, lots of wind and then more rain just miles from home. YES WE ARE HOME. We traveled 9050 KM or 5625 miles. We were gone for 37 days. (5 weeks & 2 days) It was an awesome trip as we not only saw lots of relatives we also got in lots of site seeing. We might even be Museumed out. LOL

Day 33 cont'd.
This is in hour 2 now trying to finish our post. We had the last two pictures and an interesting story about Annie's and my giant roast beef dinner at the Husky House Headingly truck stop and lost it all. Can't get the picture uploaded but will describe it. I've spent 50 years eating on the road and informed our waitress of same. The roast beef specials were more than an inch thick and covered half of a full size dinner plate. I always finish my meal but not this one, not much more than half. Needless to say, we got a big takeout box and sliced the remains as best we could with the steak knife to utilize with buns at our campsite. I actually thought we were on candid camera or something as this meal was so out of line for a couple of seniors. I was on best behavior in case we were on tv but no dice I suppose.lol.
Day 33 Aug 19, 2019
We are going to try and upload some pictures today as we are suppose to be right under the antenna.

After breakfast we headed for Historic Fort Snelling. Was very interesting museum. Fort was established in 1820 to prevent the Canadian fur traders taking all the beavers from the area. LOL
The fort has been used for multiple uses over the years. It was a training school in WWII for training Japanese Americans to learn Japanese dialects, and now is a Historic Museum. We spent 4 hours there.
